Hands on Heritage

The Hands on Heritage team are building reconstructions of ancient buildings and artefacts using traditional crafts and techniques. The Iron Age, Romano-British and Anglo-Saxon periods are all represented in this exciting project, through lime mortaring, green timber frame woodworking, pottery making and firing, tile manufacture, wood turning and carving. You can find more information on their projects at the Hands on Heritage blog
