Booming Bitterns Guided Walk

Join us on a walk around RSPB Ham Wall as we listen out for the booming call of male bitterns, and try to spot them in the reeds or flying overhead! All whilst learning about the history of RSPB Ham Wall nature reserve, and the conservation work to help restore habitats for bitterns.

A fun event designed to arm you with knowledge of the elusive bittern and the wetlands habitat they live in.

Adult RSPB member – £8
Adult non RSPB member – £10
Child RSPB member – £4
Child Non RSPB member – £5
Please note a non refundable booking fee will apply.

Admission to Ham Wall nature reserve is free for RSPB members (please display membership cards on your dashboard), parking fees (£3 all day) apply to non-members.

Warm clothes and sturdy walking shoes are required. The walk includes rough and uneven grass paths unsuitable for wheels. Suitable for ages 10+. Dogs are not permitted on the walk. Please note that it may not be possible to stay 2m apart from other walking participants.
