Things to do
Watch Wildlife
Whatever time of year you come to the Avalon Marshes you can see wonderful wetland wildlife; iconic birds such as marsh harrier and great white egret as well as the colourful kingfisher. In the summer dragonflies, damselflies and butterflies are everywhere. If you are lucky you may see the secretive otter or perhaps a hare. We have five major nature reserves with hides, boardwalks and trails for young and old.
